UMN Returns to Provide Scholarships Through OSC 2017

Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) continues its commitment to educate indonesia’s young generation through education by providing a number of scholarships through the Online Scholarship Competition (OSC) 2017 program held by Metrotvnews.com and Avitex. This is the 3rd year for UMN to provide scholarships in OSC activities. This commitment was realized through the signing of cooperation with Metrotvnews.com in Jakarta on Friday (21/7).

President Director of Metrotvnews.com, Firdaus Dayat said, education is the key to the progress of the nation. He believes that the development of education makes the country faster forward.

“This is the third year we’ve run the OSC. It is expected to attract 35 thousand participants spread throughout Indonesia. A big thank you to the favorite universities in Indonesia who participated in this program. Hopefully next year we can increase this cooperation,” said Firdaus Dayat, Friday (07/21/2017).

This year’s OSC with Avitex program targets 35 thousand participants who will win 240 strata 1 (S1) scholarships. In addition to UMN, OSC2017 also signed cooperation with 11 other private universities spread across Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Malang, and Surabaya. The OSC program itself aims to attract students, prospective students, or students who excel but are unable to meet their undergraduate education due to financial limitations.
