Tangerang – UMN and Maybank’s recruitment agreement was inaugurated on (04/06). Many things were discussed, ranging from Independent Learning Independent Campus Internships, UMN CDC programs, and others.
On (04/06) UMN and Maybank formalized their recruitment agreement. The signing of the recruitment was attended by Ir. Andrey Andoko, M.Sc., as the Vice-Rector of academic affairs; Cendera Rizky Anugrah Bangun, M.Si., the Head of the Communication Science Study Program; Ardiles Akyuwen, S.Sn., M.Sn., a representative from the Arts & Design Faculty; Kanon Mommsen Wongkar, S.H., M.H., a representative from the Business Study Program; and Fenina Adline Twince Tobing, S.Kom., M.Kom., a representative from UMN’s Engineering and Informatics Faculty.
Also from the Maybank team involved were Reni Astuti Dewi, the Head of Talent, and three Maybank Talent Acquisitions, Andini Eka Hapsari, Shinta Ardilawati, and Theresia Agatha.
The signing of this recruitment discussed many things, including the current technology industry, the importance of soft and hard skills, and future collaboration programs with Maybank.
“We are thrilled to be able to collaborate with Maybank because we have prepared students for the industry with both soft skills and hard skills. In our opinion, not only hard skills and academics are needed in the industry but also soft skills because hard skills and soft skills cannot be separated,” Andrey said in the opening.
Maybank also conveyed the needs of their industry. With technology growing, more people who understand technology are needed. In addition, Maybank wants to develop its industry with new generations that will have better ideas and innovations in the future.
“We are committed to continuing to provide friends with opportunities who have the potential to become our successors selectively. We are targeting fresh graduates and beginners so that young people’s mindset about Maybank can be formed,” Reni said.
The discussion also discussed internships and collaboration between two parties, such as guest lectures. According to Maybank, the current younger generation is better at analysis. It is seen by not only their ideas but also how they understand things in depth and can achieve targets.
“Maybank is open to all collaborations with UMN. If something is needed that can involve Maybank, we are happy to help, so Maybank and UMN can get to know each other more closely and develop together,” concluded Reni in the discussion.
