Jakarta, February 21, 2024 – Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) has officially partnered with Mustika Ratu, focusing on a student recruitment program to join the beauty company. The meeting included signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) represented by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Ika Yanuarti, reinforcing both parties’ commitment to developing students’ potential through close collaboration.
UMN is committed to supporting its students in pursuing their dream careers. One of the strategies is through partnerships with various companies, which can open up opportunities for students to gain work experience and develop their professional potential in an industrial environment.
At Graha Mustika Ratu, UMN held a meeting and discussion with an established beauty company in the industry. The focus of this meeting was to discuss the plan to absorb UMN students to work at Mustika Ratu.
“This collaboration has the main objective of opening up opportunities for UMN students to be involved in various programs at Mustika Ratu, ranging from internship programs to opportunities to become permanent employees after graduation,” said External Student Affairs Manager Elfira Fitri Wahyono.
She also added that Mustika Ratu has the opportunity to participate in various job recruitment activities for UMN students, including opening a booth at Career Day and Career Hiring events. In addition, if Mustika Ratu is interested in holding a sharing session, UMN will gladly welcome it.
In addition to cooperation in recruitment and career fields, UMN also collaborates with Mustika Ratu in the Film and Electrical Engineering study programs. For the Film study program, Mustika Ratu has an entertainment agency called Mustika Ratu Entertainment (MRE), which is actively involved in video, film, and animation production.
The company feels that its talents in this field can continue to be developed with the help of UMN film students, who have certainly learned a lot about the methods and techniques of shooting, video editing, and the basic concepts of animation.
As for the Electrical Engineering study program, this collaboration allows students to be involved in a machine rejuvenation and maintenance project at the Mustika Ratu factory. UMN electrical engineering students can apply their knowledge and skills in the machinery field to update and improve the efficiency of the company’s production machines.
“We always prioritize link and match. We hope UMN graduates can meet the specs or competencies of the industry when they graduate,” said Elfira, quoting Ika’s words.
