ULTIMAGZ Wins Two GOLD in the National Campus Media Event

One of the campus presses of Multimedia Nusantara University, ULTIMAGZ, was awarded gold as The Best of Java Magazine at the Indonesia Student Print Media Awards (ISPRIMA) 2016, last February. This achievement is also a complement to the religiousness for the media’s 8th birthday.

The beginning of 2016 has been a special time for ULTIMAGZ. Because, two print editions, namely the October-November 2015 issue and the Special edition 2015 managed to become winners with the title gold for the category of The Best of Java Magazine at ISPRIMA 2016. The award was given on Tuesday (9/2) in Lombok, Mataram.

“These two awards are truly the most beautiful gifts for ULTIMAGZ’s 8th birthday and National Press Day,” said Nikolaus Harbowo, Editor-in-Chief of ULTIMAGZ in 2015.

For the October-November 2015 issue, a cover illustration is displayed such as a man’s face loading. “It describes new students who still lack knowledge of UMN, still have a lot to know and learn again. In addition, the content also discusses a lot about umn’s successful alumni and some campus problems, “niko said. As for the special edition, the cover illustration looks like someone fishing from the boat. The content also tells a lot about UMN, UMN facilities and lecturers, and UMN who always have and educate qualified students and often improve themselves to become educational institutions that continue to develop in a better direction.

In the assessment not only in terms of cover illustration but also seen in terms of size, content, photography, marketing and advertising. As a result, ULTIMAGZ can be the best. These achievements and predicates are certainly a motivation to continue to grow. “The challenge now is to create content with a more interesting angle, and to converge media. We expect ULTIMAGZ to become more and more known not only from magazines but also online and social media,” niko said.
