Ready to Operate, Multimedia Nusantara Polytechnic Held a Building Thanksgiving

Tangerang – After being built for approximately one year, Multimedia Nusantara Polytechnic (MNP) held a building ceremony on Thursday (9/9). This gratitude was carried out at the MNP Building located at Jl. Gatot Subroto Kav.1 Gading Serpong, Tangerang as well as a marker of the start of the operation of the MNP building. Also present at the inauguration event was the Head of Multimedia Nusantara University, MNP Establishment Project Team, Lecturers and Staff of MNP.

Given the still pandemic situation, the building gratitude event is done simply, limited, and while maintaining health protocols. The thanksgiving event was conducted with a joint prayer, a series of ribbon-cutting ceremonies and hospitality.

MNP is built on an area of 80,000m2 with a campus building of 13,300m2 and consists of 5 floors. This campus was first part of the development of a region consisting of educational and industrial collaboration called Teknopolis 8.

“The design of this campus is designed using a similar concept used by UMN, which is an environmentally friendly concept and has a comfortable work lecture atmosphere,” said MNP Project Manager, Roy Anthonius Susanto.

The Polytechnic educational institution building under the Multimedia Nusantara Foundation consists of classrooms and several laboratory spaces including mini theatre, green screen & animation studio, strategy planning lab, technology entrepreneurship lab, e-commerce technology design lab, event production lab, computer lab, digital graphics studio, ICT lab, logistic &SCM lab, animation interactive studio, and 3D asset development lab.

Not only the laboratory room, in the building that became the first of five buildings in this masterplan there are facilities that will support the lecture process, ranging from marketing rooms, student rooms, lecturer rooms, libraries, and theory classrooms. This MNP building is also equipped with a hall space of 965 m2 located on the fifth floor as well as a parking lot that can accommodate up to 200 cars.

After the gratitude of the building, the launch event will be held on Saturday (18/9). On this occasion, MNP first launched three study programs, namely Digital Animation, E-commerce Logistics, and Event Management (MICE). These three study programs focus on the utilization of ICT as a digital skill and literacy and strengthening in data and human literacy.

These three Applied Bachelor (D4) study programs are designed with strategic partners who have a good reputation in the industrial world, such as Dyandra Promosindo, KGXpress, PT Multimedia Nusantara, Growth Center, UMN Pictures, Brown Bag Films, Ironbird Logistic, Hotel Santika, Agate, and Loket.com.
