August 20, 2015Having global insight is one of the conditions that must be owned by those who will want to successfully compete abroad. Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN) as a university that has a vision to produce graduates with an international outlook also bridges this.
A total of 5 UMN students will take part in the short course program at Tokyo Denki University (TDU), Japan in September. They are Aurelia Rianto (Informatics Engineering), Vincentius Kurniawan (Informatics Engineering), Yvonne (Computer Systems), Christina Krista (DKV), and Aybi Fauziah (DKV). The five of them managed to pass the CV and portfolio selection program held by the UMN rectorate and managed to beat other competing students.
Later for 10 days, from September 8 to September 18 2015, they will learn to make projects that are in accordance with their fields of knowledge, learn Japanese culture and language, and take part in a campus tour provided by TDU. Currently, the five of them have prepared everything needed to take this short course including questions for TDU Professors who are experts in their fields.
Each of them has expectations in following this short course. In addition to understanding more about Japanese culture, they also hope to get other benefits. Like Aybi and Aurel for example, he hopes to get networking from outside Indonesia as well as broaden his horizons. Meanwhile, Yvonne hopes that the additional knowledge she will gain will be able to help her in completing her final project.
Have a good study Krista, Aybi, Yvonne, Aurel, and Vincent! (*)
