The Cyber Security Laboratory is equipped with various hardware and software designed to support learning and research in the field of cyber security.
The facilities available include:
- Dedicated servers used for cyber attack and defense simulations.
- Computers that support security analysis.
- Network security software such as firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).
- Network equipment and routers that enable real-time configuration and simulation of cyber attacks.
This laboratory supports various academic and research activities, including:
- Training and simulation of cyber attacks to hone students’ skills in detecting and responding to threats.
- Research on encryption, data security, and threat mitigation techniques.
- Collaborative projects with industry focused on security audits and the development of cybersecurity solutions.
