TANGERANG – UMN CDC and K-Style Hub collaborate through a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA), focusing on recruitment activities for internship and full-time work programs for students and alums. In addition, it is also for the development of student career skills. This collaboration was carried out on Friday (31/3/2023).
K-Style Hub is a multinational company from South Korea that has the potential to develop into a pioneer in Indonesia. Of course, also looking at the potential in the future which requires quite a high number of Human Resources (HR), especially in IT, Business and Management, Marketing, and Creative.
According to UMN External Student Affairs Manager Elfira Fitri Wahyono, it would be good for UMN students or graduates to be able to join and contribute as interns or full-time workers there.
“It is hoped that UMN can meet the needs of human resources for internship and full-time work programs in accordance with the requirements needed at K-Style Hub,” Elfira said.
This collaboration is a follow-up to the previous meeting, which discussed the internship program. In addition, it is also possible that there will be more cooperation to fulfill HR needs in the upcoming K-Style Hub project.
K-Style Hub Brand Strategy Manager Febryana Rizki Amalia explained that cooperation with UMN could be even wider, such as for Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects that require IT talent from UMN or language centers in UMN that can be helped to promote to friends in Korea.
UMN was chosen by K-Style Hub because it is considered to have good human resources for students or graduates, especially in the IT field as professionals. UMN students have also been taught to create LinkedIn, which helps companies to check the profiles of candidates who apply for jobs.
“In the future, we hope to have a wider cooperation, apart from the internship program. Maybe by holding sharing sessions about work culture in South Korea,” Febry said.
