Tangerang, March 4, 2023 – The National Achievement Center (Puspresnas) held a socialization of the National Student Competition in Business, Management, and Finance (Kompetisi Mahasiswa Nasional Bidang Ilmu Bisnis, Manajemen, dan Keuangan/KBMK). This socialization was broadcasted through the Puspresnas YouTube channel and Zoom Meeting as a preparation for students who participated in the competition.
The Indonesian Talent Development Center, as the Technical Implementation Unit of the National Achievement Center, again held KBMK this year. KBMK provides a platform for students studying Business, Management, and Finance to showcase their best abilities in solving realistic business challenges and to broaden their horizons in the business world. On this occasion, Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) was entrusted to host the national semifinals and grand finals.
This competition carries the theme “Exploration of Responsible Production and Consumption Opportunities and the Application of Circular Economy in the Era of Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0 to Accelerate Inclusive and Sustainable National Economic Transformation within the Framework of Business, Management, and Finance.”
There are 5 branches that will compete in this competition, including Scientific Writing, Commercialization of appropriate research and technology, Investigative Audit Finance, Investment Research, and Business Planning. Registration for this competition will be held online from March 6 to April 28, 2024.

In the context of socializing KBMK, representatives from the Head of the Indonesian Talent Development Center, represented by the Head of the Vocational and Entrepreneurship Work Team, Rizal Alfian, emphasized the important role of this competition in developing students’ interests, talents, creativity, innovation, and critical reasoning.
KBMK is not just to explore students’ potential but also to strengthen their character education. Alfian emphasized that honesty and integrity must be upheld as a form of implementation of the values of the nation and state with character. Thus, KBMK is not only a competition but also a place for character-building for its participants.
UMN’s Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Ika Yanuarti, also expressed her views during the socialization session. According to her, UMN gives full support to the organization of this competition because it aligns with UMN’s vision and mission.
UMN’s vision and mission aim to produce graduates with high competence in their respective fields, both as professionals and individuals with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. In addition to hosting the competition, UMN also sent student representatives to participate.
“Hopefully, students can benefit from this competition by becoming talented and characterized professionals in the fields of business, management, and finance.” Ika concluded.
