A New Version of U-Mart Finally Operates at UMN

TANGERANG – On Monday (06/02/2023), UMN inaugurated the new face of U-Mart. The inauguration was attended by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Ika Yanuarti, S.E., M.S.F., CSA., Corporate Secretary of Libro, Hariadi, and Business Development Manager of OMI, Darmawan. 

U-Mart, operating for approximately 4 years, faced some obstacles during the pandemic. As all lecture activities were carried out online, there was a decrease in earnings, causing U-Mart to stop operating for a while. 

Finally, welcoming the new semester, U-Mart has reopened with a new look that is even more complete than before. U-Mart, which currently partners with Indogrosir, is believed to benefit the entire academic community.

“We are grateful that we can reopen today. We hope to meet the needs of all the students and employees well and can get a wide variety of good quality products at competitive prices,” Hariadi said.

Hariadi also thanked all parties who helped U-Mart reopen with a new look and various products.

“I would like to thank UMN for helping restore our minimarket, especially Mr. Darman and the team who have replaced the lights and re-painted the space, so it looks better. Thank you also to the Indogrosir team for supporting us, and we also hope that the products can continue to grow and become more diverse.”

Darmawan, a representative of Indogrosir, also responded, “If there is any input on what items are needed by students and teaching staff, it can be submitted directly. If the products are available in Indogrosir, we will immediately get into action and ensure the completeness and diversity of U-Mart.”

“Thank you to Indogrosir for helping us to support the goods so that U-Mart is very crowded. So students and teaching staff do not need to go to other minimarkets if they want to shop for daily necessities. Hopefully, with U-Mart partnering with Indogrosir, U-Mart will be more advanced,” Ika said when inaugurating U-Mart.

The inauguration of U-Mart ended with the cutting of the ribbon by Ika as the Vice Rector of Student Affairs on behalf of UMN, “By giving thanks to God, I inaugurate the reopening of U-Mart,” she concluded.
