Microsoft Excel was created with the aim of excellerate and accelerate. So, it is hoped that Excel will become one of the excellent and fast tools in dealing with problems. Excel has a variety of formulas and functions that can be used to complete arithmetic calculations accurately and quickly.
In Excel, several hidden hacks or functions are provided to speed up work: organizational structure, data cleansing, conditional formatting, and data validation for lists. Apart from that, Excel also provides a special feature to create charts quickly. In companies, Excel is used for dashboard creations.

“One of the communications used is Excel, so we (Data Analysts) often send Excel files or spreadsheets. So it’s easier,” Tantut said.
Data practitioners will usually be in contact with several teams, such as the managerial team and the operational team. When blasting or creating promoting campaigns, the data team will deposit data using Excel or spreadsheets. From there, the team working with data practitioners will easily understand and gain insight. Tantut also illustrated that Excel also helps data practitioners in presenting data to the managerial team.
“The first time I came to RupaRupa.com, I was given a test on Excel. Maybe, in theory, I understand, but in practice, I still often get it wrong. So, from there, I started watching Excel tutorials on YouTube often,” Tantut said.
Before closing this live session, Tantut gave a special message for beginners and non-IT people who want to learn Excel. He shared that even though you are familiar with Excel, you still have to increase your direct Excel implementation.
