TRACCE UMN

Traditional Music and Dance or familiarly known as TRACCE is one of the Student Activity Units (UKM) at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara which provides a platform for students to channel their interests and talents in Indonesian traditional arts.
In TRACCE there are 2 divisions which are known as Regular Dance and Ratoh Jaroe Dance. The Ratoh Jaroe Division studied the details of the Ratoh Jaroe dance while the Regular Dance division studied traditional dances from various regions in Indonesia called the Plate Dance, Cendrawasih Dance, Fan Dance, Bubuka Dance, Bajidor Kahot Dance, Enggang Dance, Kembang Tanjung Dance, Tokecang Dance, Nandak Dance Ganjen, Genjring Traditional Creation Dance, Marpangir Dance, Orchid Dance, Kasomber Dance, Tifa Dance, and Kinang Kilaras Dance.

Every year, TRACCE holds a traditional dance competition and Saman / Ratoh Jaroe dance, called Arsawati. This competition is usually followed by high school and university level students that are located in Jabodetabek. In addition to this, TRACCE also held a special internal event for TRACCE members known as “Tracce Goes To” where TRACCE members jointly participated in friendship to increase the spirit of dancing in Tracce and solidarity between members.
TRACCE always participates in various dance competitions, both Traditional Dance and Saman Dance. Not only that, Tracce is often invited to appear at internal events at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara.
