UMN Lions Basketball is one of the UKM in Universitas Multimedia Nusantara engaged in sports specifically basketball. This Student Activity Unit has been established since 2010. Lions basketball has a goal of being a forum for students and female students to be able to show their ability and skills in the field of basketball. As a basketball team, UMN Lions Basketball has a concept that becomes the foundation for their team known as ‘Student Athlete’ where a player must prioritize education first before basketball as a sport. Of course, this concept applies to both the men’s and women’s teams so that they are reminded that education as a priority for a students at Multimedia Nusantara University.
