“We Want to Go to the Old Town” by Social Designee

Is a social program held by Social Designee on Saturday, March 26, 2016, located in lecture hall, 3rd floor of New Media Tower, Multimedia Nusantara University. The program was held in the form of an exhibition of works from the children of Curug Wetan village and also a tour to Kota Tua, North Jakarta. The program is called “We Want to Go to the Old City”.

The event began at 09.00 WIB with the opening of Ryan Sucipto, chairman and Founder of Social Designee, then continued with the screening of several animated shows, namely Toys Story and Also The Borrower Arrietty, then the end of the event was an exhibition of images of curug wetan village children guided by Social Designee volunteers during 11 meetings.

Ryan Sucipto, chairman of Social Designee argues that social movements cannot be spoken by mouth alone, but must be done with heart and energy. “So we want to get friends that social movements are not only spoken, but we have to do,” Ryan said in an interview.

Not only the exhibition, Social Designee invites the children of Curug Wetan village to travel to Kota Tua, North Jakarta on Sunday, March 27, 2016. (*)
