WCWSL Rumpin: Motivation of Elementary School To College Students

For the second time LPPM Rumpin held an event “We Care We Share with Love” by inviting the children of SDN Leuwiranji 02, Sukamulya Village, Rumpin Subdistrict, Bogor, to visit and carry out a series of activities at UMN, Tuesday (28/3).

WCWSL opens with three interesting games such as I’m a Nutritious Child (matching the types of vitamins and fruits or food), Mystery Words (looking for the name of the profession on a piece of paper full of random letters), and Otak-Atik Kata (playing on a multimedia basis). Furthermore, there is training from lecturers on how to speak well in public (public speaking), inspirational fairy tale readings from Awam Prakoso, then closed with a “graduation” event.

“The purpose of this event is to introduce the world of lectures and motivate them to get an education to college. So, we deliberately make them feel what graduation is like, even though what is practiced is only simple to be effective for them and can motivate in the future,” said Maggie Pranata, chairperson of WCWSL 2.

For the entire event, Maggie and the entire committee were satisfied because all the participants were excited. “Going according to the plan, we’re happy with that,” he said. (*)
