November 3, 2020TANGERANG – Multimedia Nusantara University Alumni Family (WE UMN held a WE Professional Update event online. With the theme “WE Industrial Insight and FMCG Update”, WE UMN invited Maria Cynthia – Junior Supervisor Packaging Designer, Mayora Group – (UMN Visual Communication Design Alumni 2013 ) as a speaker and Primadianti Purbandini – Consumer Communications, Ogilvy PR & Influence Domain. (UMN Alumni of Communication 2013) as moderator.
Maria Cynthia or who is familiarly called Marcyn revealed that in the FMCG Industry apart from the movement of goods, people who work in it must also move quickly.
“If my friends are interested in FMCG, don’t forget to prepare your mentality, speed, and flexibility. Must be ready to forge through that key, ”said Marcyn during a live Instagram @kami_umn, Tuesday (23/6).
According to him, the value of speed in the FMCG industry is a challenge in itself and cannot be avoided. This is closely related to the changing behavior of daily consumption. Early in his career in the FMCG industry, Marcyn admitted that he had experienced a culture shock because he had to work on various product designs quickly.
As the New Development Design team at the Mayora Group, he is also required to have design creativity at all times.
“But somehow, after we have overcome the challenges (and) we can handle it, I feel satisfied and there is pride,” continued Marcyn.
