Jakarta (08/06/2023) – Thirty students from Sekolah Perkumpulan Mandiri Menteng, Central Jakarta, participated in developing innovative ideas on the NOICE platform in the Skystar Youngpreneur Program, which took place from June 5-9, 2023, in Jakarta.
The Skystar Youngpreneur Program, a collaboration between UMN’s Skystar Ventures and Sekolah Perkumpulan Mandiri, is an innovation-based bootcamp program using real case studies from the industry. This program aims to encourage creating an entrepreneurial spirit and problem-solving skills in high school students from an early age.
In collaboration with NOICE, an audio and content production platform, Sekolah Perkumpulan Mandiri students are invited to develop innovations that can benefit audio content creators (podcasters) in Indonesia.

Students participating in the program also had the opportunity to visit the NOICE office and record a podcast about their business idea.
Head of Incubator at Skystar Ventures and UMN’s Vice-Chancellor for General Administration and Finance, Ir. Andrey Andoko, M.Sc., said, “Programs like this are expected to foster the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship early on so that young entrepreneurs will be born who can contribute to Indonesia’s economic growth.”
Through the Skystar Youngpreneur Program, students also get exclusive opportunities to learn directly from various practitioners in the startup industry ranging from validating business ideas, conducting market research, prototyping, and pitching their business ideas.
Several mentors from NOICE, Kredivo, Pluang, Meratus, to Skystar Capital participated in this program, providing direct assistance and feedback to students to generate business ideas and innovations.

Yenny Chandra, Director of Academic at Sekolah Perkumpulan Mandiri, said, “The collaboration program between Sekolah Perkumpulan Mandiri and Skystar Ventures gives our students the opportunity to apply the knowledge they learn from startup practitioners and hone their leadership, problem solving, and entrepreneurial skills that are relevant to the world of work.”
A total of 6 business innovation ideas were generated by the students participating in this program, including business solutions from the perspective of content creators and innovation ideas for the NOICE platform.
Overall, this program is expected to support students as a young generation to be able to think creatively, innovatively, and solutive-ly as a provision and a platform to prepare for careers and jump directly into the growing startup industry.
