UMN’s Joint Degree Program: Experience Studying Locally and Abroad Simultaneously– Many prospective students dream of experiencing undergraduate studies abroad. The Joint Degree in Informatics is a collaboration between UMN and an Australian university, Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne. The program is designed to provide students with the basic knowledge and industry skills needed to apply information and communication technology (ICT) to various fields.
What do you learn during the course?
By entering the Joint Degree Informatics Program, graduates are expected to master the technical skills for the following.
- Design and build mobile applications
- Analyze and design databases
- Handling information system risk and security
- Analyze business information systems
Requirements to enter the Joint Degree Informatics Program:
- Graduated from Senior High School majoring in Natural Science Study Program or from Vocational High School majoring in Computer Engineering and Informatics Engineering.
- Students must take English subjects during their studies at UMN and pass an IELTS score of at least 6 for each band to continue their studies at SUT.

Graduates of this joint degree will get two degrees, namely Bachelor of Computer (S.Kom) from UMN and Bachelor of ICT (BICT) from Swinburne University of Technology (SUT). With these two degrees, graduates are expected to be able to compete at the national and even global levels.

Joint Degree Program Global Logistics Management UMN – INHA Korea

For prospective Management students who are eager to experience studying in Korea, you can check out this joint degree by UMN. The Global Logistics Management Joint Degree Program is a collaboration between UMN and INHA University in South Korea.
Students in this program will study for 4 semesters in UMN’s Management study program and the following 4 semesters in the Global Logistics Management on Business Administration (GLOBA) Program at INHA University Korea. After completing their studies, graduates of this joint degree will receive a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from INHA University, Korea and a Bachelor of Management (S.M.) degree from UMN.
What do students of the Global Logistics Management Joint Degree Program learn?
During the four semesters of study in UMN’s Management study program, students will learn the basics of logistics management, which include the following:
- Logistics basics subjects
- Business math
- Financial management
- Supply chain management, and several other courses.
Then, students will study international logistics for four semesters at INHA University. Things that will be taught include:
- Global logistics management
- International logistics, warehouse and material handling management
- Manufacturing logistics
- Aviation logistics
- Business logistics modeling
- Logistics information systems
- Corporate big data analytics, and several other courses.
Requirements to enter the Joint Degree Global Logistics Management Program
- Successfully completed the 4th semester (year 2) of the Management Study Program at the UMN Faculty of Business.
- Minimum GPA ≥ 3.00.
- Proficient in English, proven by a TOEFL/IELTS certificate with a minimum score of 90 for TOEFL IBT and 6.5 for IELTS.
- Have sufficient funds to study in Korea.
- Successfully passed the selection process by submitting documents and interviews with INHA University, Korea.
