UMN’s FSD and UNPAD’s FIKOM Establish Cooperation on UMN’s Tridharma of Higher Education

BANDUNG – The Faculty of Arts and Design (Fakultas Seni & Desain/FSD) of Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN) visited the Faculty of Communication Studies (Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi/FIKOM) of UNPAD to sign an MoU on the Tridharma of Higher Education cooperation. In this case, two Study Programs are involved, namely UMN’s Film and Animation Study Program and UNPAD’s Television and Film Study Program (TVF). This collaboration was carried out directly in the plenary room of FIKOM UNPAD on Friday (16/6/2023).

The Dean of FIKOM UNPAD Dadang Rahmat Hidayat, Head of TVF UNPAD Sri Seti Indriani, and the UNPAD rectorate welcomed UMN’s presence. 

FSD UMN Dean, Muhammad Cahya Mulya Daulay, explained that with this collaboration, long-term activities could be established and realized, such as student and lecturer exchanges, research, conferences, scientific publications, and many other things that can support the Independent Learning Independent Campus (Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM)) program and the development of the scientific field.

“It is hoped that the MoU signing will not only stop here but also be able to carry out real activities that can ultimately bring benefits to both faculties and study programs,” Cahya said.

During this cooperation visit, the UMN group was invited to tour the FIKOM UNPAD building to visit laboratories and lecture facilities.
