Tangerang — Musashino University visited UMN (31/05) to expand UMN’s collaboration program with international campuses. Musashino University’s arrival also resulted in a good discussion between the two parties.
Musashino University visited UMN on (31/05). This visit was expected for future collaboration with Musashino University and Universitas Multimedia Nusantara, welcomed by Prof. Dr. Muliawati G. Siswanto and M.Eng.Sc., Dr. Florentina Kurniasari T., S.Sos., M.B.A.
The representatives from Musashino University are Yoichi Ito, Dean of Entrepreneurship Musashino University, and Tatsuya Tsubuki and Ikuo Hiraishi, Professors of the Faculty of Entrepreneurship at Musashino University. There were also 7 student representatives from Musashino University.
The visit opened with a campus tour of UMN, a discussion with Skystar Venture, and an opening about Skystar Venture’s profile. In the discussion, Skystar conveyed their work programs, such as business projects with students and supporting students in Independent Campus Independent Learning Entrepreneurship projects.
“We have many projects with international parties. With this visit, I hope there will be collaborations that can be done together with UMN and Musashino University, both competitions, business, student exchanges, and others,” Muliawati said.
The discussion also discussed how business development is currently significant in education and implementation. Skystar Venture and Musashino University are very open to new startup businesses because entrepreneurship is important.
“We are very impressed with UMN and Skystar, and we also feel that entrepreneurship is very important. Early education about entrepreneurship is something that people need to know, we are striving to develop many programs on campus,” Yoichi said.
According to Yoichi, there are three important things in entrepreneurship education: discussion with a group or friends and the output of the discussion itself, interactive training, and smooth communication.
