October 18, 2022TANGERANG – The Tax Service Office Pratama Tigaraksa (Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Tigaraksa) held the “Tax Goes to Campus” program at Multimedia Nusantara University on Friday (2/9/2022). The program, attended by dozens of UMN 2022 Accounting students, carries the main theme of “Tax Aware Generation”.
Head of the Tax Center at Multimedia Nusantara University, Chermian Eforis, said the purpose of this program is to increase awareness about taxes. For example, an understanding of tax obligations and rights.
“Accounting students can also have basic knowledge of taxes so that it will be easier for them when taking taxation courses,” Chermian, also a lecturer at the Accounting Study Program at UMN said.
Chermian also hopes that the UMN Tax Center can continue to assist the government in the success of similar programs. Moreover, the UMN Tax Center has also been committed to educating the public regarding taxation.
UMN is one of the universities in Indonesia that has had a Tax Center service since 2016. The UMN Tax Center has also facilitated the public in terms of free tax consultations.
The tax consulting service center at UMN has even won an award in the “Tax Volunteer” program by the Directorate General of Taxes, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia.
