Tangerang, February 1, 2024 – Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) constantly makes new achievements. This time, the achievement was made at the Regional Coordination Meeting (Rapat Koordinasi Daerah/Rakorda) of the Higher Education Service Institute (Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi/LLDikti) Region III 2024 with the focus on “Higher Education Transformation Towards Global Recognition in the Implementation of Permendikbudristek Number 53 of 2023.”
As a higher education supervisory institution in its region, LLDikti routinely organizes Regional Coordination Meetings every year. This year, LLDikti Region III chose Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) as the location for the Rakorda. In the event, this institution awards universities that have achieved achievements in various fields of education and academic development.
On this occasion, UMN won several awards: Private Universities with Superior Accreditation, Private Universities with a Sexual Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force, Private Universities with the Best Student Assistance in 2023, and Private Universities with the Best SDG Contribution in 2023.
In the category of Private Universities with the best student mentoring, UMN obtained the highest position by winning the Platinum award. This achievement marks UMN’s outstanding achievement, outperforming other private universities.

Ika Yanuarti, UMN’s Vice Rector for Student Affairs, said that student welfare is one of the assessment aspects in this category. UMN has shown its commitment in the financial field by providing various facilities, including scholarships, student loan programs, and other financing facilities. In addition, UMN has also established various divisions that aim to provide comprehensive services to students, ranging from counselling services through student support and career coaching through CDC to administrative services through student services.
“UMN also has a student excellence program, which was created to guide students, such as character building, teamwork, leadership, and career building,” Ika said.

As for the Private Universities category with the Best SDG Contribution, UMN received the Gold award. This shows the commitment of the campus always to make a positive contribution to its environment. UMN clearly shows its concern for SDGs by organising courses that develop SDG-focused projects.
To achieve its vision as a world-class university, UMN is steadfastly committed to maintaining and improving its quality. This includes various initiatives to ensure high educational standards are maintained and improved.
