Tangerang—On Monday, 21/04/2025, UCSI University, Malaysia, officially appointed UMN Rector Dr. Andrey Andoko as a visiting professor at one of the prestigious campuses in Malaysia. Two other lecturers also get the same opportunity: Dr. Ika Yanuarti, S.E., M.S.F, CSA, as the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, and Dr. Prio Utomo, S.T, MPC, as the head of the Master of Technology Management study program.
UCSI University is one of the campuses that actively collaborates with UMN. Previously, UCSI University appointed Dr. Ninok Leksono as a visiting professor. Furthermore, the collaboration between UMN and UCSI continues to this day with the submission of three UMN lecturers.
“I have been to UMN several times, and I am happy to be back again. I hope this collaboration can bring good results. UCSI and UMN can become good global universities,” Professor Dr. Cham Tat Huei, Dean of UCSI’s Graduate Business School, said.
For Cham, collaboration is very important in today’s world of education. Collaboration between universities can jointly encourage and develop better international education.
“I hope this collaboration can maintain a positive relationship between UMN and UCSI in various areas and academic journeys. I am happy to be trusted as a visiting professor, and with this, I hope to contribute well to UCSI,” Andrey said.
The UMN Rector said that the collaborations have given UMN many valuable lessons for students and lecturers. Dr. Andrey is happy to continue collaborating with UCSI to develop even higher-quality education.
“I am very happy and grateful to UCSI for choosing me as a visiting professor. This is a good opportunity for me. With this opportunity, I am encouraged to contribute well to UCSI,” Ika said.
Ika will be a visiting professor at UCSI Graduate Business School. For Ika, it is a responsibility to continue to be committed to having a good and real impact on UCSI later.
“This is a good opportunity to be a visiting professor at UCSI. This is the main point for UMN to go global, this opportunity can be UMN to continue learning together with UCSI and be known in the eyes of the world,” Prio said.
These three UMN teachers will later become visiting professors at UCSI in their respective fields. Of course, this is a good opportunity and experience for UMN towards a world-class university.
