There were also representatives from Astragraphia: Henry Tedjakusuma as Astragraphia’s Chief of Human Capital, Ronald Sout as Head of Human Capital Development & Quality Innovation, Yohanes Davin as HC Analyst, and Laetitia Caeli Hermawan as Corporate Communication and also UMN alumni.
From this collaboration, UMN wants to explore more about their alumni and get evaluations from companies about their graduates so UMN can use the feedback to continuously develop competence from students.
“We have two commitments. The first is to keep up with existing developments and not be left behind. So, it is hoped that there will be input from the industry. We can also find out what developments are happening in the industry and whether there is continuous improvement. Our second commitment is in the education process. We want to produce graduates with good hard and soft skills,” Andrey said in the discussion.
Henry continued this discussion, saying that Astragraphia had recruited UMN students several times in their company. According to him, many students from UMN contribute a lot to the company, competitively and critically.
“Our company does have a two-month training to evaluate students. We also conduct rotations within the company because our company has branches throughout Indonesia. The purpose of this rotation is to get more insight and experience. Because we know that each region has different habits from its customers,” said Henry in the discussion of signing the MOU recruitment.
They also mentioned that the most important thing in this company is the desire and willingness to continue learning. It is also crucial for their company that there is a willingness to learn quickly (speed learning).
In addition to the discussion about student recruitment to the company, there was also a discussion about CSR from UMN’s Engineering and Informatics Faculty. Seeing Astragraphia’s many CSR programs, UMN’s Engineering and Informatics Faculty is interested in involving their UMN students in this CSR, such as elementary school teaching programs, scholarships, and other CSR programs.
