Tangerang – UMN Hospitality Study Program inaugurated their collaboration with Doubletree Hilton, Bintaro on Friday (4/03/2025). This collaboration will focus on recruitment cooperation. In addition to recruitment, there will be cooperation and collaboration that will be carried out by UMN and Doubletree Hilton.
Doubletree Hilton is one of the most famous hotels in the world, spread across 140 countries, and has 8,400 properties. Doubletree Hilton itself commits to “thrive in body, mind and spirit” to team members so that physical and mental health is very much considered. Like UMN, Doubletree Hilton prioritizes sustainability for the future of the earth.
“This collaboration will be very beneficial for hospitality students. I hope that more and more students can get internships or full-time jobs at Doubletree Hilton. There are other things we can collaborate on such as workshops, guest lectures, or campus hiring. Doubletree Hilton can also be involved in UMN’s curriculum input. This is UMN’s effort to stay updated in the industry,” Ika Yanuarti, S.E., M.S.F, CSA, UMN’s Vice Rector for Student Affairs, said.
According to Ika, this collaboration is proof that UMN continues to collaborate with the industry. She believes that the world of education cannot run alone without the industry. The Industry helps education to continue to develop and not be left behind.
“I am happy to be able to collaborate with UMN. To me, the industry cannot run alone without education. A curriculum that continues to advance requires the industry to also continue to advance and get updates from the world of education,” Raymond Johny, Head of Human Resources of Doubletree Hilton, Bintaro, said.
Raymond himself hopes UMN can join the programs at Doubletree Hilton so students can have new opportunities and knowledge. Doubletree Hilton is very supportive of UMN students’ careers in the future. Raymond hopes this collaboration will have a positive and sustainable impact.
