According to Dewi, the management program already has a road map that is applied in 2016 to 2021, namely Excellent Teaching with Strong Industry Collaboration. Until now, the application of excellent teaching is to complete the course with a detailed Semester Learning Activity Program Plan (RPKPS), utilize e-learning media, and conduct monitoring and evaluation of lecturer performance.
“Prodi also provides more opportunities for lecturers to develop by participating in training and development, as well as the use of the 2014 curriculum that is more in line and adaptive to industry demand, including the existence of certification subjects for the 4 existing interests,” dewi said.
In addition, there are several facilities that can train students to be able to practice management sciences such as exchange corners or investment galleries (in collaboration with the Indonesia Stock Exchange), where they can see capital market movements and transact directly, as well as business and management simulation labs for practical media for students in semester V.
While the strong industry collaboration element was developed in collaboration between the study program and the Student Association of Management (HIMMA) and companies to produce work programs that can improve communication skills, problem solving and analytical thinking in addition to cognitive abilities, and that can expand networking with the industry so that students are more ready when entering the workforce.
This achievement is also a mandate for management programs and business faculty to continue to improve quality, both in the process of learning, research and devotion, as expressed by the Dean of the Faculty of Business, Dra. Ratnawati Kurnia Ak., M.Si, C.P.A, C.A. “Improvements in the teaching and learning process in the classroom, the quality and competence of lecturers, as well as the curriculum used inline with the world of work.
