August 3, 2022UMN Signs a MoU and MoA with Pradita University
August 3, 2022Tangerang, 23/7 – After two years of conducting the event online, the Graduation of Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN) XXII was finally held onsite at ICE BSD. Raising the factual theme “True Entrepreneurs in the Digital Era,” this graduation invites graduates to understand the process of becoming a true entrepreneur. More than that, graduates are invited to understand what is essential in aligning beliefs and dreams to achieve life goals.
In his speech, the Chancellor of Multimedia Nusantara University, Dr. Ninok Leksono, M.A., invited graduates to continue to develop themselves and be ready for all new opportunities and challenges. This is important when becoming a true entrepreneur, both in the digital era and not. Ninok also hopes that graduates will understand the nature of technology, understand the regulations, and be aware of existing weaknesses and challenges.
“My special message to the graduates this time is to continue to be aware of new opportunities and to listen without capital and preparation, but with new knowledge and skills according to the times. Good luck,” Ninok concluded.
Also present to give a speech at this event, the Head of LLDIKTI Region III, Dr. Ir. Paristiyanti Nurwardani, M.P., in her remarks, expressed her appreciation for the graduates. She believes that UMN graduates will become national leaders in the digital era.
“I am not surprised if UMN has truly become an inspirational university in Indonesia. There has never been a university that excels in just ten years. It looks like the vision and mission of UMN is very futuristic. Its mission and vision are indeed extraordinary, and I want to share the vision of UMN, which wants to be excellent in the field of ICT, both nationally and internationally, which produces graduates with global insight and high competence in their fields of expertise with an entrepreneurial spirit and noble character,” Paris said.
Also present at this graduation is the Co-Founder of Everwhite Indonesia, Jessica Lin as a speaker who will motivate graduates. In her material, Jessica told about the beginning of her career as an employee who had to work overtime until the morning. Several times she moved companies; Jessica then got the idea to make local beauty products amidst the onslaught of foreign products. Jessica is sure that Indonesia can produce quality products and is no less competitive with other products.
“That’s where the idea and dream arose to create their own local brand called Everwhite. So, don’t underestimate dreams because dreams will help us move forward and try to achieve them,” Jessica said.

Graduation Theme Inspired by the Dayak Tribe
It has become a tradition in graduation ceremonies. UMN always raises the theme of culture as the concept of the event. In this graduation, the Dayak tribe was chosen after previously raising the theme of the Baduy Tribe. Not without reason, this is done as an effort to conserve Indonesian culture.
Dayak themes are implemented in every graduation visual material, such as posters, invitations, bumpers, etc. Not only that, but the committee also used batik uniforms with patterns and styles from the Dayak Tribe to strengthen the presence of culture in this graduation.
“Hopefully, this graduation event can inspire graduates to become entrepreneurs as well as become a momentum for culture in Indonesia. Congratulations on becoming an alumni, good luck in the world of work, and don’t forget to your beloved UMN alma mater,” Hardiyanto concluded.
