Tangerang – On Monday (19/08), UMN officially collaborated with the Harapan Bangsa Foundation. This MoU is expected to encourage more cooperation between UMN and schools in Indonesia. In addition, there will be programs that can be implemented together and collaborated.
The collaboration between UMN and Yayasan Harapan Bangsa is expected to be implemented soon. It is hoped that the signing of this MoU can be a form that UMN is open to all collaborations.
“I am happy to be here to welcome you, and of course, I am also happy that we can collaborate further. We have often collaborated together previously, but this official MoU can strengthen the relationship between UMN and Harapan Bangsa Foundation,” said Arief Setyadi, M.M., Marketing Manager.
In this collaboration, it is written in the MoU that UMN will provide scholarships to high school students of Tunas Bangsa as well as selection tests for either Diploma 3 or Bachelor’s. In addition to student scholarships, UMN provides 50% scholarships for the master’s programs for the board of directors, teachers, and employees.
“Thanks to UMN for opening their hands and being willing to collaborate with us. I am delighted. After I read the MoU, I was happy. Not only do the students get scholarships, but UMN also pays attention to directors, teachers, and employees,” Hardian, S.Kom., Head of the Education Division, said.
In addition to scholarships, UMN also collaborates to provide training for teachers and employees at Yayasan Harapan Bangsa. This training is expected to develop competent and creative human resources in the future.
“We are currently in need of training, especially in the fields of computer and digital marketing. Seeing the development of technology and social media today, we feel that we still have a lot to learn and develop,” Hardian said.
In addition to scholarships for students and training, UMN and Yayasan Harapan Bangsa wanted to collaborate on internships and street vendors in the future.
