TANGERANG – Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN), together with the UMN Institute for Research and Community Service (Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat/LPPM), established a collaboration with the Indonesian Businesswomen Association (Ikatan Wanita Pengusaha Indonesia/IWAPI). The MoU signing and discussion of future activities were held on the UMN Campus on Monday (6/2/2023). This collaboration is expected to support the existing potential in entrepreneurship development.
IWAPI is an organization consisting of mothers or women who have businesses in producing goods or services. This collaboration aims to increase the capacity of organizational members and to support the community’s economy.
Head of the Community Service Bureau, Andy Firmansyah, explained that with this collaboration, the UMN campus could provide training and mentoring to IWAPI to become a progressive and rapidly developing organization that supports the economic sector of the community under the guidance of the UMN campus.

This collaboration is carried out in the fields of education or teaching, research, and community service. It began with the MBKM student program, where they designed and developed the Tangerang Regency IWAPI website, since Monday, February 6, 2023.
“It is hoped that through this collaboration, we can synergize our potential to help each other in organizing education and teaching, research, and community service,” said Andy.
The event was attended by UMN LPPM Director Winarno, Head of Community Service Bureau Andy Firmansyah, PKM – LPPM Team UMN, and UMN Global Office Team. While the representatives from IWAPI who attended were the Chairperson of the Tangerang Regency IWAPI DPC Sri Endah Pudjiastuti, and her team.
