TANGERANG – Multimedia Nusantara University (Universitas Multimedia Nusantara/UMN) officially collaborates with PT Eka Jaya International by signing a cooperation agreement. The signing was done on the UMN Campus on Tuesday (28/11/2023). This collaboration is facilitated by the Career Development Center (CDC UMN).
Educational institutions are required to cooperate with industrial partners so that education and the world of work are inseparable. So, UMN needs a company as a place for graduates to work and receive feedback from the company.
UMN’s Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Ika Yanuarti, explained that establishing a cooperative relationship with companies allows UMN to improve and evaluate in terms of curriculum or soft skills. That way, UMN can equip students with hard and soft skills that are per the company’s needs.
“Cooperating with PT Eka Jaya Internasional can be an opportunity for UMN in terms of relationships to get closer. This cooperation can continue not only in recruitment but in various other activities,” Ika said.

HR Branding PT Eka Jaya Internasional, Nur Afifah, explained that this collaboration was carried out because UMN graduates have good credibility, and they have recruited UMN students to work. In addition, UMN is located close to the company.
“The hope is that, of course, we can accept more professional graduates from UMN and work together not only in internships but also cooperation in courses and others,” Afifah said.
