The event also held a series of guest lecture forums on Monday (22/8/22) at the Lecture Theater P.K. Ojong – Jacob Oetama building, UMN.
Several leaders from Multimedia Nusantara University, BI Institute and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology were present: Dr. Ninok Leksono (Rector of UMN), Dr. Arlyana Abubakar, MBA (Director of BI Institute), Adrian Bani Kansil (Manager of Onboarding Practitioners of the Teaching Practitioner Program of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology), and Mirza Yuniar (Deputy Director of BI Institute).
The teaching practitioner program is a collaborative program from the BI Institute with universities, one of which is UMN, by forming team teaching, co-creation modules, and teaching materials that integrate central banking topics into the campus curriculum. In addition, from this program, UMN students will also have the opportunity to gain insight into working practices at the central bank in the classroom directly from BI practitioners.

“We are aware that it is our students who will become future leaders. I also believe that UMN will be an example of a solid institution in the future. Finally, let’s support this collaboration to create a generation of graduates who are excellent and ready for the world of work for the sake of Greater Indonesia,” Adrian said.
During the sharing session, Mirza shared several objectives and materials that will be taught in this teaching practitioner program: the development trend of the digital financial economy, e-commerce, the global digital divide, the expansion of the BI Institute target, which aims to add 15 million QRIS users, and digital mindset.
“Your (students) role in the future will be very important, and the world will run faster. Maybe it’s time for us to rethink who we are and what abilities we can use to push the digital economy transformation in the future,” Mirza said.
