UMN Alumni Ula Fitria Receives 1st Hope Kang Nong Tangerang District

Ula Fitria, a UMN Alumni Student, received the 1st Hope Kang Nong Tangerang District.

Tangerang – Ula Fitria, one of UMN’s student alumni, was awarded the 1st Hope Kang Nong Tangerang Regency on (29/09). This activity is an election for the Tangerang Regency Youth, Culture & Tourism Ambassador.

The annual Kang Nong Tangerang Regency program is a tourism ambassador program for Tangerang Regency. This program consists of young men and women who will represent the spirit of young people to develop and preserve culture, especially tourism in Tangerang Regency.

One of UMN’s alumni, Ula Fitria, won 1st place in this program. In the selection of this program, Ula also participated in auditions from semifinalists and finalists, followed by quarantine, talent night, and the grand finale. Ula said that she participated in many activities for about one month. She participated in learning guidance to know and explore the culture and tourism of Tangerang Regency. She gave her best, from being disciplined in managing her time to following the coaching activities as much as possible.

“During the selection process, coaching until the grand finale was very memorable for me. The laughter, ups and downs, and happiness were all shared with the finalists and seniors. My most memorable moment was when I became the Nong of the Day.”

Getting this 1st hope, of course, Ula feels happy and proud of what she has achieved so far. However, her responsibility is also to be useful, especially for the Kang Nong Association and Tangerang Regency. 

Ula is currently an active student studying master’s in management and is also a member of the Kang Nong Association of Tangerang Regency 2023.
