This List of Student Clubs and Organizations Will Make You Love Studying at UMN- Being a student is incomplete if you only study in class without participating in campus activities. Student Sports Club

The first student organization is the one that covers sports. For those who like to train their bodies in fitness and physical activities, UMN has provided various sports student clubs to choose from according to your interests. Some of the Sports Student Activity Units in UMN are as follows:
- LIONS Basketball: A student organization that focuses on basketball.
- LIONS Volleyball: a club that specializes in volleyball.
- LIONS Futsal which focuses on futsal sports.
- Table Tennis UMN for those who love ping pong.
- LIONS Badminton for students who like to play badminton.
Then, there are not only “traditional sports” in UMN, you know, UMN friends. There are several other student clubs in sports that rarely exist on other campuses. For example, UMN’s Capoeira Club is a sports club based on the sport originating from Brazil.
There is also the Fortius Esports Club, a UMN student club specializing in electronic sports enthusiasts who want to develop their talents in e-sports. In its development, the Fortius team educates its members to become pro players in e-sports, and members can also choose to be part of the Fortius Esport management itself.
In addition, UMN also has the unique Spectre Club. Spectre specializes in stunt action for the film world. Here, its members learn to act in the movie world with professional standards.
The Spectre club is even familiar in the Indonesian film world. Under the auspices of Ultimate Stunt Fighter, Spectre has entered the film industry, and its members have played in famous Indonesian films. For example, The Raid, The Night Come from Us, and Gundala.

Apart from sports, Universitas Multimedia Nusantara provides a platform for students with talents in music, dance, art, and culture. So, if you are interested in these fields, there is nothing wrong with joining one of the arts and culture student clubs. There, you will also meet friends with the same interests and talents.
What student clubs are there in the field of arts and culture? Here is the list:
- J-Café UMN, which stands for Japanese Culture and Animation Forte UMN, is a student activity unit that has activities that focus on Japanese culture. J-café UMN does not only discuss manga and anime but also other Japanese cultures, such as folklore, customs, language, cosplay art, and prop making, as well as music and dance.
- Multimedia Face of Music (MUFOMIC) is a student club at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara specializing in bands, suitable for those who like to play music in a band format. Some of the divisions in MUFOMIC include vocals, guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and EMP (Electronic Music Production).
- Obscura is a student club engaging in photography. You can enter this club for those with a particular interest in the world of photography. This club is one of the oldest clubs in UMN.
- Qorie is a club that focuses on South Korean culture– more or less similar to J-Café. Qorie was established to support and introduce the Korean wave in Indonesia and, of course, in UMN.
- Tracce UMN is a UMN student club forum for students who want to channel their talents and interests in traditional Indonesian arts. Tracce is divided into two divisions: Regular Dance and Ratoh Jaroe.
- Let’s Dance, also known as Street Dance Club, is a place or forum for students of Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) interested in the world of dance. Some of the dance styles learned include b-boy, locking, hip-hop, ladies, popping, etc.
- UMN Symphony Orchestra (USO) is a UMN club that is a forum for UMN orchestra musicians. Until now, USO has participated in various events on and off campus. USO also became one of the founders of IOMI (Indonesian Student Orchestra Association) in 2020.
- Ultima Sonora is a student club engaged in the field of choirs. This UMN frequently receives awards and achievements. Recently, Ultima Sonora won two Gold Medals in the 3rd International Bandung Choral Festival 2023 at Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung.
- Mapala UMN is a club for those who love the outdoors. Mapala UMN activities have 3 divisions: Forest Mountain, Rock Climbing, Environment, and a Caving subdivision.

Universitas Multimedia Nusantara also pays attention to students with more talents and interests in science and social fields. That is why UMN also has various clubs in this field. What are some of UMN’s science and social clubs? Here are some of them:
- Rencang UMN is a social community that stands under the auspices of Universitas Multimedia Nusantara. Rencang has various activities, such as blood donation, orphanage visits, internal routines, and incidental events.
- UMN Programming Club (UMN PC). As the name implies, UMN PC trains competitive programming skills to sharpen its members’ logic and thinking power.
- Ultima Toys is a club for collectors and toy photography lovers. Besides discussing trending and new products or figurines, Ultima Toys shares techniques, tips, and tricks in toy photography.
- UMN English Student Council (UESC) is a UMN student club that aims to develop its members’ English language skills. UESC consists of 4 divisions: Scrabble, Speech, Spelling Bee, and Debate. For those interested in honing your English skills, there is nothing wrong with choosing UESC as your club in UMN.
- Game Development Club (GDC) is a student activity unit organized to be a forum for UMN students who want to learn to produce games in a team. With UMN GDC alums involved in the game industry in Indonesia and other GDC seniors, GDC members gather and learn to develop games. Interested in making a game? Come on, join UMN’s GDC club.
Apart from student organizations, UMN also has various student organizations that can help UMN students build and hone soft skills. For example, the Student Executive Board is a university-level student organization with the highest student executive body. The UMN Student Executive Board oversees many student organizations under it, such as the Faculty/Department Student Association, Student Organizations, and Semi-Autonomous Institutions at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara.
