June 27, 2022TANGERANG – Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN), together with the Program Manager of the Korea International Cooperation Agency Indonesia (KOICA Indonesia) and the Head of the Tangerang Regency Manpower Office (Disnaker) and their team, held a KSU 4 IRTC Program Evaluation Meeting.
The monitoring and evaluation visits for the KSU 4 IRTC program continued after a joint discussion between the UMN leadership and KOICA representatives on the first day. Not yet finished, on the first day, representatives of KOICA and lecturers from the KSU 4 IRTC program at UMN participated in the Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Continuing the series of events, on the second day, UMN again had representatives from KOICA, Ms. Lee Sunyoung (KOICA Program Manager), and additional guests Mr. Rudi Hartono, MT., as the Head of the Tangerang Regency Manpower Office and the team.
On the second meeting on the first day, Tuesday (9/6/22), regular discussions and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) were held. This FGD aims to have all parties (KOICA and UMN lecturers) be on the same page by having ice breaker questions.
Everyone who wants to speak or express his opinion must raise a small piece of colored paper, and later, Lee will take the paper. This ice-breaking activity created a light atmosphere as Lee had to run around the meeting table taking the papers, bringing laughter and fun to the FGD.
In the FGD, all the problems were thoroughly discussed, starting from the timeline of the training, the issue of boring online learning methods, to some participants who missed the learning materials.
Likewise, the solutions to those problems were also discussed, such as improving the learning mood by personal modification of the teaching lecturer through concrete examples and experiments and conducting a participant competency screening before starting the training. After the FGD was over, closing the first day of a series of discussion events, Lee conducted a survey to determine the level of satisfaction of lecturers who participated in the KSU 4 IRTC program.
On the second day, Wednesday (10/6/22), apart from Lee as the KOICA Program Manager. UMN also had a new guest from the Head of the Tangerang Regency Manpower office (Disnaker), Rudi Hartono, MT., and his team. Rudi and the Disnaker team were deliberately invited to an evaluation meeting and provided feedback regarding the KSU 4 IRTC program.
Together, UMN and KOICA explained the KSU 4 IRTC program as a whole, both in terms of its continuity plan, the problems being faced, and solutions that can be applied to further develop and introduce the KSU 4 IRTC program to students and the community.
Responding to the presented KSU program, the Head of Manpower Office (Kadisnaker) Tangerang Regency, Rudi Hartono, said, “The KSU 4 IRTC program is in line with the efforts of the Manpower Office to eradicate unemployment in Tangerang Regency.”
