Because a manager is the head or leader of a team, of course, in the world of work, managers will always communicate with all team members in the world of work. Therefore, good communication skills are very helpful in coordinating and building intense communication with their subordinates.
One example of communication skills is when a manager gives feedback to his subordinates. Usually feedback is given in the form of input to members, for example in the form of awards, suggestions, input or corrections if a team member makes a mistake. Communication skills can be honed by students, for example by joining campus organizations or being involved in a committee at the department, faculty or university level. In addition, students can also hone it through presentations in class using power point slides to deliver material in front of an audience.
3. Leadership
Leadership ability is no doubt an ability that students in the management major must possess. How come? Leadership skills are defined as a person’s ability to influence various activities in an organization to be able to achieve predetermined goals. As prospective managers, they are expected to be role models for their members. There are many things that can be honed to have leadership skills, such as communicative, work motivation, teamwork, delegating and feedback. You can learn leadership by joining organizations and committees. You can try to become a division head, division member or executive chairman in these activities.
This skill can be trained by learning by doing, namely quickly taking business opportunities and considering all the consequences. Not only managers but graduates from the management major can also later be directed to become a businessman. So by having a leadership spirit, it is hoped graduates can build a business, not just a desire but also good at observing opportunities, especially in facing the digital marketing system.

Students in the management major also need to be equipped to make decisions (decision-making) both now and in the long term. You could say this one skill is a basic skill in life. Decision-making is an activity to consider various choices made by a decision-maker.
Before the choice is made, there are several stages that will be passed by the decision maker. Starting from identifying the main problem, compiling alternatives to be chosen until the decision will be taken. To be able to get this skill, a decision-maker must be able to reduce his ego and need to involve many points of view from his teammates in order to get satisfactory results. Making decisions is also not done hastily but with full consideration for sure.
5. Self-Awareness
As a management student, having self-awareness skills is very important. Self-awareness is an attitude that seeks to pay attention to thoughts, behaviors, and their impact on others. An example of this self-awareness, for example, is that students are aware that they are responsible for completing their thesis in the final semester.
By having self-awareness, a leader can consciously influence the situation and environment of an organization. The hope is that as a graduate majoring in management, you need to have an open attitude and have social, business and management concerns. When you have good self-awareness, it will be easier for you to accept input from others.
6. Entrepreneur Skills
The last skill that is no less is the Entrepreneur Skill. Entrepreneurial skills mean creating value with entrepreneurs’ skills to profit financially from their creative endeavors. Entrepreneurial skills for business success are the ability to manage, empower, and use whatever knowledge you have, information, experience, and other skills to overcome difficulties. Knowledge is a tool, and creativity is a way of cooking.
Entrepreneurial ability is also a combination of the two sides of the ability of funds to overcome difficulties and challenges. Entrepreneurial skills positively affect business success due to knowledge with the ability to manage, empower, and utilize knowledge for success.
