UMN Student Support Shares How to Build Healthy Romantic Relationships

February 25, 2022TANGERANG – Skystar Ventures Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN) held a Kick-Off event to start the Batch 9 incubation program officially. This event was held on Friday (18/2/2022) virtually and was attended by seven selected startups who participated in a series of Bootcamp activities.
The selected teams have proven their consistency in exploring business ideas during the Bootcamp activities. With that being said, it is hoped that they can go through the incubation program well so that they can produce startup products that can provide benefits to society. The seven startups chosen are Rentout, Saraya, 2001 Travel, AdopSea, Kubi Karir, Leumpang, and Archive.
Andrey Andoko, as the head of Skystar Ventures Incubator and UMN’s Deputy Chancellor for General Administration, hopes that this incubation program can develop the participants’ entrepreneurial spirit and invite experienced mentors and practitioners to learn about technical skills.
“Don’t waste this precious opportunity. This is a rare opportunity for students who are still pursuing their degrees. Of course, this will also be a great asset when you are serious about starting a business. So once you’ve graduated, you don’t have to worry about looking for jobs but providing job opportunities for others,” Andrey said.
Andrey explained that for Indonesia to become a country with the strongest economy, it needs economic growth that can be achieved by having new businesses. But relying on new businesses requires new ideas, creation, and innovation.
“It is hoped that when you join this incubation program, new creative and innovative ideas will emerge which can later be developed into a big business. Not only from a business perspective, but also has a positive impact on the wider community, providing provide solutions to the community and industry,” he said.

Renaldo Sutjiady, the Head of the Skystar Ventures program, explained that growing a business is not an easy process. So, it is impossible to realize interesting ideas without great enthusiasm from the business founder, especially when building a business and studying simultaneously.
At this Kick-Off event, team participants and the Skystar Ventures management are also met to build a relationship for future collaborations. Participants also received information on rules to follow while joining this incubation program.
For the next six months, participants will undergo several trainings and monitoring from Skytar Ventures to maximize the ideas they would like to implement. The program will also invite speakers from C-level to startup founders from various fields to share their knowledge with the participants. Later, each team will receive assignments from their mentors to develop their business ideas.
This incubation program has received much support from different parties from UMN academics, mentors, and other networks for the past eight years. Skystar Ventures hope that the Batch 9 Kick-Off will help support UMN’s vision to grow the young’s generation’s enthusiasm for entrepreneurship.
