TANGERANG – On June 10, 2023, Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN) held another Open House event. Hundreds of high school/vocational school students and prospective students, along with their parents, came to get to know firsthand the various Study Programs and Facilities owned by UMN. The Open House, this time, was also equipped with multiple exciting door prizes.
The Open House event, highly anticipated by high school/vocational school students, was held again, with the theme “Preparing a Superior Young Generation Towards the Internet Of Sense Era.” This Open House succeeded in attracting 684 participants.
With the theme “Preparing a Superior Young Generation Towards the Internet Of Sense Era,” Gerdy Gunawan, the Chief Executive of the Open House, explained that this event was held to prepare the young generation to be internet literate through various facilities available at UMN.

Attended by the UMN leaders, the Heads of Study Programs, and Lecturers, this Open House also invited outstanding students who received scholarships at UMN and abroad.
Ninok Leksono, the Chancellor of Multimedia Nusantara University, who couldn’t attend the event, welcomed the Open House participants through video. He expressed his happiness in coming to the best campus.
“This is a good time not only to look for a university, but to look for a future amid the turmoil that occurs in the world of higher education, especially regarding the selection of the right university. You are all on the right campus,” Ninok said.
Ninok also expressed his hope that the Open House would enable the students to make the right decision regarding their future.
“I hope that with this visit, you will be able to make the right decision by studying at UMN,” Ninok said.
In line with Ninok, Arief Setyadi, the General Manager of Marketing and Business Development, also added that he wishes the Open House could provide opportunities for students and guests to get to know UMN more deeply.
“From this Open House, we hope that students and all guests can see and feel the facilities directly and become interested in enrolling in UMN so that they can take advantage of these facilities when they become students later,” Arief said.
This Open House was filled with various exciting activities, such as sharing sessions with IISMA scholarship recipients, Heads of Study Programs, and Lecturers. In addition, all participants who attended had the opportunity to conduct direct scholarship consultations with Education Consultants to consult study programs of interest and career prospects directly with lecturers from the 13 Study Programs.

In addition to consultations, the participants who attended the Open House also could see exhibition booths of students’ works. UMN also provided education vouchers for each participant who came and paid the UMN entrance fee during the Open House.
The Open House event ended with lunch and the distribution of several exciting door prizes such as model metals and Smart TVs.
