June 30, 2021TANGERANG – Multimedia Nusantara University’s Accounting Study Program has again received an A accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). The legality of this accreditation is stated in Decree Number 8846/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-PPJ/S/VI/2021.
Head of Accounting Study Program of UMN, Stefanus Ariyanto, S.E, M.Ak., CPSAK., CA. admitted the challenges in maintaining this A accreditation. Nevertheless, Ariyanto said that this achievement is the proof that the Accounting Study Program of UMN has succeeded in maintaining and improving its performance.
Ariyanto also explained several indicators contributing to this achievement such as the ratio of lecturers to students and the composition of lecturers’ education. He said that almost all lecturers in the Accounting Study Program of UMN have already had a functional level of position. In addition, the number of lecturers with doctoral degrees in the Accounting Study Program of UMN has also increased. In addition, Ariyanto said the various achievements of the students in the Accounting Study Program of UMN have also contributed to this high achievement.
“Another big score from accreditation is contributed by supports from universities, including facilities. They contributed a pretty high score too. So, it means that the facilities provided in UMN increase, instead of otherwise,” Ariyanto continued when interviewed via Zoom, Tuesday (29/06/21).

However, Ariyanto said this achievement is only half a step. He revealed that UMN’s Study Program of Accounting is also aiming International accreditation from FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation). In addition, Ariyanto added that he would continue to improve the quality of education in the UMN’s Study Program of Accounting.
“We are now with the Merdeka Campus. We can collaborate with many universities abroad in terms of lecturer exchanges. Well, in the context of the Merdeka Campus, there will be (also) student exchanges,” said Ariyanto.
