Multimedia Nusantara University held an Open House in 2015 with the theme ‘Preparing for a Career with Faculty and Study Programs Ready to Face the Technological Era’, on Saturday (7/11). This event invites prospective students and their parents to be able to introduce the Faculty and Study Program owned by UMN so that they are more stable and confident in the choice of programs to be taken.
Since the morning, prospective students and parents flocked to lobby B UMN. More than 850 participants participated in the Open House this time. They are then divided into 4 different rooms to get the right information in accordance with the Faculty and Study Program of interest.
There, each study program then introduces excellence and career prospects for students. They also introduce curriculum, courses, learning methods and information of teaching staff from each study program. In addition, there are also alumni to share their experiences while studying at UMN and how the experience turns out to help them pursue a career in the professional world or when they build their own company.
Open House this time also presents a different thing. In addition to introducing faculty, study programs, and career prospects for prospective students, UMN introduces three new study programs to prospective new students and their parents.
Physical Engineering and Electrical Engineering are two new study programs under the Faculty of Information &Communication Technology (ICT). While the architecture study program will be under the auspices of the Faculty of Art and Design. Not only that, The Interest in Animation and Cinematography that used to be under the DKV Study Program is now a new study program called Film and Animation.
The open house is closed with a door prize and campus visit. Thus, participants can get to know the ins and outs of the campus as well as the campus facilities available and can be used by them when becoming UMN students.
