Tangerang, February 12, 2024 – Two students of UMN’s Professional Education for Architects (Pendidikan Profesi Arsitek/PPAr) received awards for their achievements. This is an appreciation program given by the study program after passing one semester. The Head of PPAr UMN, Irma Desiyana, presented this award.
PPAr UMN is a learning platform for postgraduate architecture students who want to deepen their careers. With a clear focus on providing education and being practice-oriented, PPAr UMN provides an in-depth learning experience based on real-life situations. Supported by lecturers who are experts in their fields, students get direct access to valuable knowledge and practical experience.
In addition, to encourage academic achievement and accomplishment, PPAr launched a program that aims to reward and appreciate students who have made achievements in each semester. At this time, two PPAr students received appreciation from the Study Program for their achievements.
One of the students who received the award was Adinda Dwi Anindita. She received an award as “The Best Score.” She received this award in the project “House Design of Senior Living Center in Bangli, Bali.”

Besides Adinda, Fatya Itan Jeehan Widodo also received an award for the same project named “The Best Learning Curve.” She said that getting the award was not easy.
“My initial design received a lot of criticism, but I learned from it. I was helped a lot by the feedback given by Ms. Raras, Ms. Tatyana, Ms. Irma, and other colleagues.”
For her, this was a new and exciting experience. Moreover, the project carries the theme of sustainability, which is very important to her. In her view, humans often take a lot from the earth without giving anything back. Therefore, she feels it is time to give back to nature and expresses her actions through her residential designs.
“I hope that what I learned from this project will influence my designs to be more sustainable and positively impact both people and nature,” she concluded.
The students were awarded physical certificates and UMN jackets. Irma Desiyana, the Head of PPAr, said that the plan is to continue this kind of program in future semesters to encourage students to give their best.
