Happy Birthday, Kompas Corner
May 6, 2015Are you the next KG Scholarship Recipient?
May 22, 2015The young who work. This saying is what is tried to be proven by one of the students of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN). Wimbo Adimas from UMN information systems department was intrigued when he saw the sidewalk that was not used properly. He also tried to offer an answer to this question.
This place that should be devoted to pedestrians is actually used for other things irresponsibly. For example, used by motorists to pass through road congestion, used as a wild parking lot, even used as a place to peddle the merchandise of street vendors. Dimas then took the initiative to create a solution through a website titled Trotoar Kita.
Trotoar Kita have a solutive interactive function. Only by accessing https://www.trotoarkita.com/, sidewalk users can respond to sidewalk abuse. Here, they can also exchange information between users about existing abuse.
Through existing interactions, the Trotoar Kita website is expected to be a provider of information, photos, as well as solutions that can be shared also to various social networking services. Thus, parties who use sidewalks as well as local governments can immediately take effective and strategic steps to follow up on existing problematic sidewalks.
Do you want to be a problem solver like Dimas? Come on, make it work now at UMN!
