Guest Lecture of PJJ Communication Science Study Program

Tangerang – The Communication Science Distance Learning (Pelajaran Jarak Jauh/PJJ) study program at Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN) holds online guest lectures every semester. In the even semester of 2022/2023, the Visual & Photographic Communication course presents a practitioner from the digital communication industry, Yunanto Wiji Utomo, who currently serves as Interactive Visual Editor at Kompas.com.

The visual & photographic communication course examines knowledge related to graphic design principles, basic visual elements, visual communication ethics, typography, semiotics, photography, and videography to create advertising projects adapted to digital industry standards. This course will equip students with a lot of knowledge and skills to prepare themselves before entering the workforce.

Despite doing online lectures, students in the Communication Science PJJ Study Program can still feel the development in real work practices through guest lectures that are held.

On this guest lecture occasion, the practitioner familiarly called Mas Yunan also said, “there are three important aspects in today’s digital world, namely: Interactivity, Personalization, and Fun.” According to him, these three aspects have become digital jargon that can accommodate netizen activities in the digital world.
