October 31, 2017UMN’s commitment to instill student love for Indonesia not only stops by holding an Open Senate Session that raises the theme of Superior and United Young People in Diversity in August. Now, UMN made a new breakthrough to further foster the pride of Indonesian students and people towards Indonesian culture through the Nusantara Cultural Festival 2017 which lasted for 5 days, Monday (11/9) – Friday (15/9) at the Multimedia Nusantara University Campus.
Citra Selarosa, Chairman of nusantara Cultural Festival 2017 explained that this activity is important to be organized so that students, UMN academics and the community do not forget their cultural roots. “In the midst of increasingly fast globalization, students tend to forget the richness of Indonesian culture around them. In addition, with the rise of radicalism and division issues circulating lately, UMN feels it is important to create an event that can unite the cultural diversity in the archipelago,” said Citra.
