August 30, 2016In order to increase the participation of new students in non-academic activities, the Student Activity Unit (UKM) introduced their activities in front of prospective new members in Expression Week, Monday (29/8) to Thursday (2/9) on the UMN lobby stage as well as opening open recruitment.
During the lecture, UMN students are not only encouraged to obtain satisfactory academic values but also develop their soft skills through various non-academic activities in UMN such as student activity units, communities, organizations, associations, semi-autonomous institutions, and campus media.
A total of 65 non-academic organizations introduced their activities on open stages and stands located in umn environment to increase the attractiveness of new students (MABA) to actively participate. Each organization describes what their activities are, the terms for joining, and the timing of implementation. In addition, they also perform a slick performance, interact directly and open registration.
In addition, the UMN lobby is also enlivened with various bazaar stands that sell various products, ranging from beauty products to mobile phone accessories.
The highlight of this activity is the holding of MAXIMA (Student Expression Night), Friday (2/9), where there will be exhibition stands and appearances from student, community and organizational activity units, food bazaars, photo booths and special appearances from DEKAT. (*)
