The UMN 2023 New Student Orientation was held for two days on the Multimedia Nusantara University Campus on August 22 – 23, 2023. On the formation of day 1, new students were welcomed by UMN Rector Dr. Ninok Leksono, M.A., at the opening and welcoming ceremony for UMN 2023 OMB participants. The welcoming ceremony for UMN 2023 new students was attended by the rectorate, BEM, lecturers, and staff. Ninok also delivered a message to UMN 2023 OMB participants during the ceremony.
“OMB is not just an event, but a campus introduction to student activities, study programs, and campus introduction. You students are chosen people,” Ninok said at the ceremony.
Dr. Ninok Leksono, M.A., is very happy with the presence of new students and hopes that new students can maintain their health and participate in the entire UMN 2023 OMB series. The UMN 2023 OMB committee also warmly welcomed the arrival of UMN 2023 new students. At the Day 1 Formation event, students received material about the Multimedia Nusantara University campus, lecture regulations, and UMN’s value, 5C.
In addition to campus introduction, new students bring their individual and group projects. So here, new students will instill a sense of solidarity and high creativity. It can be seen that new students are very happy to carry out OMB UMN 2023.

“I think OMB UMN 2023 is really exciting. At first, I was scared but it turns out that the committee and new friends are fun and friendly. The OMB committee pays full attention to new students,” Audrey Jovanny, one of the UMN 2023 OMB participants, explained.
After completing the UMN 2023 OMB series, new students continued their activities, namely study program introductions. Students gather according to their study program. This activity introduces students to their chosen study program and games.
In the series of OMB UMN 2023 activities, Day 2 Formation, students gather in the field. Day 2 Formation is the last day of OMB UMN 2023 activities. On Formation Day 2, new students conduct group dynamics in their respective classrooms. This group dynamic is divided into three games. Of course, this is made to increase the cohesiveness of each group.

This activity touched many new students and organizers because they successfully ran OMB UMN 2023.
“I was really touched by the formation of Day 2 because I didn’t expect to be able to participate in all OMB UMN 2023 activities. It feels really fast to be a college student, finally. Maybe this UMN OMB will be one of the moments I will not forget for the rest of my life because it is really exciting,” Rafian Bima said, a participant in OMB UMN 2023.
