October 30, 2023Only 16 Years Old, UMN Achieves “Excellent” Institution Accreditation from BAN-PT
November 7, 2023Tangerang – At Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN), we understand that mental health is just as essential as academic success. In today’s fast-paced world, balancing classes, projects, and personal life can take a toll on students’ well-being. That’s why UMN offers a range of mental health support services—because we believe that a healthy mind is the key to thriving academically and personally.
Feeling overwhelmed or struggling with your mental health? We’re here to help! UMN students can quickly book individual or group counseling sessions through our platform, where they’ll connect with skilled psychologists ready to assist with various mental health concerns. Our counseling team is committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where students can openly talk about whatever’s on their minds. Whether it’s academic stress, personal challenges, or any other worry, our counselors are here to listen and offer guidance.
We actively promote our mental health support resources on Instagram (@studentsupport.umn). Through engaging posts, reminders, and relatable content, we aim to spread awareness about mental health and show students that it’s okay—and even encouraged—to ask for help. Our goal is to remind students that they’re not alone and that taking care of their mental health is just as important as focusing on their studies.

We’ve also introduced the “Konselor Sebaya” peer counseling program, where students can reach out to specially trained peers for support. Sometimes, a friendly chat with someone who truly understands what it’s like to be a student can make all the difference. Our peer counselors are here for informal conversations and can help guide students toward additional resources if needed. This program fosters a sense of community and normalizes talking openly about mental health.
UMN is committed to making sure every student feels safe and respected. We take a strong stand against bullying, harassment, and intolerance through Rector’s Decree No.336/SK-R/IX/2021 that outlines our commitment to creating a supportive, inclusive environment where everyone can focus on learning and growing without fear.
Through these initiatives, UMN is building a supportive, open culture around mental health. By offering accessible counseling, promoting peer support, and prioritizing safety and respect, we’re here to empower every student to succeed—academically, emotionally, and personally. Mental health matters, and UMN is dedicated to standing by our students every step of the way. Remember, you’re not alone—let’s take this journey together!
Through these initiatives, UMN is dedicated to supporting students’ mental health and well-being, empowering them to achieve their academic goals while also prioritizing their emotional and psychological needs.
