Andrey Andoko, is no stranger to the world of mass media. Before finally serving as Deputy Chancellor for General Administration and Finance at UMN, Andrey had made significant contributions to the media industry and its progress. With a career spanning more than 20 years, Andrey Andoko has held various senior leadership roles in various media including print, internet, radio and multimedia.
The man who earned his Master's degree in Computer at the Queensland University of Technology in 1992 is focused on encouraging innovation in media technology. He served as Manager of IT Development for Kompas Daily in 1993-1998, Director of PT Kompas Cyber Media in 1998 - 2003 and Director of Radio Sonora Network in 2004 - 2007.
Armed with these experiences, the man who won the Australian Alumni award for the Journalism and Media category in 2009 also shared his knowledge with the next generation of media. Apart from being the Vice Chancellor, Andrey also has the task of being the Dean of the Faculty of Communication Studies.
