MAXIMA 2021: Dream Big, Build Enormous!

TANGERANG – The prestigious annual event, Night of Student Expression (MAXIMA) under the auspices of the Student Executive Board of Multimedia Nusantara University (BEM UMN) was held online from August 23, 2021 to September 18, 2021. The implementation of MAXIMA UMN aims to introduce various Student Activity Units (SMEs), organizations, Semi-Autonomous Institutions (LSO), and campus media in UMN.

With the theme “Dreamland”, Felicia Angelina Octaviany Montolalu as Chairman of MAXIMA 2021 hopes maxima can be a place for UMN new students to get to know and realize their dreams through various student activities. In addition, he also hopes that UMN’s new students can take the initiative and grow in every choice taken.

The entire series of MAXIMA 2021 is divided into three activities. First, the Hall of MAXIMA Exhibition (HoME) held on August 23-27, 2021. HoME is an exhibition event to introduce various student activities at UMN. Then, there is the Student Activities Unit Explore (STATE) held on September 6-10, 2021. In this STATE, UMN new students have the opportunity to experience firsthand (free trial) student activities in UMN. Finally, there is MAXIMA Peak Night which is the closing of the entire MAXIMA 2021 series on September 18, 2021.

In this closing event, all student activities at UMN also had the opportunity to introduce themselves to new students through various appearances presented virtually on YouTube MAXIMA UMN. In addition, MAXIMA 2021 Peak Night this time is also no less exciting than MAXIMA Peak Night in previous years that had invited various prominent Indonesian musicians.

This year, MAXIMA 2021 also had the opportunity to invite a band from Bandung, Juicy Luicy. Although held virtually, UMN students can still feel the euphoria at maxima 2021 peak night. There were two UMN students who were given the opportunity to make a live video call with the personnel at Juicy Luicy. In addition, umn intermahasiswa can also interact directly through live chat on YouTube MAXIMA UMN.

Behind the various festive performances at MAXIMA 2021 Peak Night, Ika Yanuarti as Vice Rector III for Student Affairs of UMN hopes that UMN students can get to know and involve themselves in student activities in UMN. Similarly, Amanda Nirel as Maxima 2021 Superviser also hopes that this activity can be a place for new students to discover and strengthen their dreams through the development of soft skills in various UMN student activities.

“It also makes them a bold, initiative, and growing personality in the dreams they have found at MAXIMA. Dream as high as possible and try your best to achieve it. Dream big, build enormous!” said Felicia.
