September 15, 2021TANGERANG – UMN 2020 Information System Student Leony Hana Noah Zebua became one of six indonesian students who qualified as UiPath Student Developer Champion on Wednesday (01/09/21). In this inaugural group there were a total of 82 students from five countries – Nepal, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, India – who passed the UiPath Student Developer Program. The UiPath Student Developer Program is a program organized by UiPath – a global automation technology company headquartered in New York – to assist students in getting to know and learn robotic process automation (RPA) in more depth.
“In the future it will be directed by its UiPath to work with their teams in arranging events and so on. Then, become a representative of the campus to introduce UiPath to many people, especially students. A kind of Brand Ambassador (BA), “said Leony when contacted by electronic message, Friday (03/09/21).
Previously, Leony said the selection process passed in this program was very strict. Not only technical knowledge about programming languages, Leony also revealed the existence of nontechnical knowledge that also became an assessment in the selection process. These non-technical skills, such as communication, event planning and organizing, leadership, oral communication (public speaking), confidence, and networking and team building skills. Therefore, Leony also revealed that the preparation is complex enough to qualify in this program.

The preparation is to introduce Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to Information System UMN students, both through lecture materials and seminars.
“In general, RPA in Information System Studies Program UMN becomes one of the lecture materials. Information System Studies Program UMN does not yet have special courses on RPA.
