Jesica Tifany Elected as The 4th Generation Chairperson of KAMI UMN

Tangerang, April 12, 2025 – The Alumni Family (Keluarga Alumni/KAMI) of Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) (KAMI UMN) once again held an important annual agenda in the form of the 4th Generation KAMI UMN Chairperson Election Congress. The event was held hybridly on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Collabo Space, Building D, 7th Floor of the UMN Campus. This event was full of warmth and enthusiasm, and was attended directly by the Supervisor of KAMI UMN, Ika Yanuarti and the PJS Chairman of KAMI UMN, Fakhriy Dinansyah.

The congress began with presenting the vision and mission of the prospective chairs, then continued with a deliberation process that involved active alumni participation across generations and study programs. The results of the deliberation unanimously determined Jesica Tifany, S.I.Kom, an alumnus of UMN’s Bachelor of Communication Science class of 2011, as the 4th Generation Chairperson of KAMI UMN.

Jesica, who is currently active as an entrepreneur and the founder of the Young Entrepreneur Agency, came with new enthusiasm and energy. In her presentation, she called for the tagline “Family by Choices”, which is the basis of her vision in building an inclusive and impactful alumni community.

Vision:

“Strengthening the presence of KAMI UMN as a cross-generational alumni forum with a sense of solid kinship, collaborative, synergizing, inspiring and empowering to actively contribute to strengthening relationships between alumni, with students, and making UMN proud through real impact in society.”

Jesica also carries a mission that focuses on strengthening a sense of belonging, synergy between generations, and active involvement in social, educational, and inspirational activities:

Mission:

• Build a sense of ownership for final year students towards the KAMI UMN forum so that they are united, have campus pride, and are inspired to be an active part of KAMI UMN and empower others.
• To strengthen the relationship between alumni, students, and campus through social, educational, and inspirational activities, both formally and informally, to build a network of alumni across generations and study programs through digital platforms, communities, and cross-field collaboration.

With the election of Jesica Tifany as the 4th Generation Chairperson of KAMI UMN, it is hoped that this new spirit will be able to strengthen the alumni network and bring KAMI UMN to be more united, empowered, and contribute significantly to UMN and the wider community.
